I’m very pleased with the fit of these boots over all. They are very durable which I was worried more about but these really do have a more athletic fit than I expected which helps a great deal when and if you have a very movable purpose for them. To me I got the newness of a boot and picked up the comfort of a boot that I’ve worn through the newness in. I would recommend these if walking and lifting and grip is required for it’s purpose. At the end of the day, my biggest goal is to make it home safe without disruption in my walking and moving and these feel and are made to protect all areas that are majorly important in field work or patch work. Believe me when I say I’ve worn more boots in my career and have opinion for each so believe me, my opinion is accurate to fit. There are $500 to $600 that are in no way compared to these. I will tell you this…if your buying these for just walking they will be great just give the material 6 months before the wear is flexible and ultimately the fit you want and if you work in the oil field, give it a week to soften up the leather and give you flexibility. There you go…just my opinion.

I recommend using a little oil like vegetable to give it a short term softness in the leather while you wear it to fit at first which will help allow your foot to form the boot and cut down on areas that can become a problem when you just pull them out of the box and just throw them on and begin normal working or just wear of these boots. Also will insure a more comfortable fit and will keep safety at the top. Other than that just wear them tie them up pretty snug to begin form your true fit.

These boots are very comfortable. I am able to walk around in them all day without any foot pain. The zipper is nice as I dont have to unlace them every day but they stay tight on my feet. They were wider and the toe box has plenty of room, both qualities I love as I have no pinch or pressure points at all in the boot. They are light as well, I will be purchasing again as long as they last at least a year.

The shoe is a perfect fit and the best part is that I didn’t have to go through the usual breaking in that I have to do with a lot of steel toe boots. I highly recommend this shoe to whoever wants a nice comfortable safety boot.

These boots fit me great, way better than I anticipated, but Puma have always fit me well. They are a little heavy, but that is to be expected, And the overall comfort and durability make up for that ten fold. I would recommend these to anyone needing a very protective boot with great comfort. I enjoy wearing them. No wear in period. Great right out of the box thanks Zappos!

The size seemed to run a tad large but the extra room just allows for another layer of socks and to make sure your toes don’t jam against the tip of the shoe. I’ve been breaking them in and they have felt great so far and no complaints.

2 weeks into daily field wear and I’m totally satisfied. They look great, and comfort for legit safety boots (all leather, distinct heel) is more than good. Never thought a side zipper was much of a thing, but it saves their stretchy laces and easy as heck to kick off on the way home and put on at 4 or 5 am. They seem to be constructed more than sufficient to survive the year when the new boot stipend kicks in again.

I absolutely love the side-zip with velcro pull protector. I typically wear cowboy boots so I can just slip-n-git when things get hairy, so not needing to tie these every time I need to run outside and check on the animals is a huge bonus! These boots remind me of tennis shoes in comfort, with a nice, wide toe box that has never crushed my toes.
My only complaint would be that my heels slightly ache after about 9 or 10 hours walking on concrete. My Justin boots with Ariat gel insoles do not cause aches in my heels, even after 12 hours. I will very likely install new Ariat insoles for added comfort!

I really love these shoes. Date all the problem is where the town can sometimes rub up against your foot causing pain. But other than that these are one of my favorites. I wear a size 9 in women, but for some reason the men’s shoes feel way more comfortable.

These are great boots. The best boots I ever purchased. They were warm on my feet the first month. Once they broke in they were fine. They also were slipping on wet stained concrete floors. After a month or two no more issue stopped. No more slipping. I am a firefighter and these boots take a beating. Wildland fires, water, constant use and a year later they are still holding up very well. I started taking them home to use around the property. I’m actually here at the moment to purchase another pair. Keep the old ones home and take the new ones to the station.
